Kapilavastu in Kapilipa, Nepal


Kapilavatthu or Kapilavastu or Kapilavastu or Kapilavatthu in Kapilipa, Nepal is the capital of the region. It is the city of God Sutthana, the father of Prince Siddhartha, who later became enlightened as the Buddha. It is the city where the Buddha grew up and stayed until his 29th birthday in Nepal.
